What is Basketball?

Basketball is a high energy team sport played on a rectangular court with a hoop at each end. Each team consists of five players who work together to score points by shooting the ball through the opponent’s hoop.

Basketball is considered a high-impact sport due to its fast pace, requiring quick movements, jumps, and intense physical contact. It is excellent for improving cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and teamwork. The game’s dynamic nature, involving dribbling, passing, and shooting, offers a thrilling and challenging workout for players of all skill levels.
